Announced that new Savory Flavors S9229 and S5456 received GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) regulatory status, which allows commercialization in the US and elsewhere, and expands Senomyx’s Savory offerings. In addition, new High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) Enhancers that enable a reduction of HFCS have been identified. Financial results from operations improved compared to 2010.  
Announced that Firmenich has initiated commercialization of Senomyx’s S6973 sucrose enhancer. In addition, development activities in support of future regulatory filings were initiated for S9632, a new sucrose enhancer intended to reduce sugar in a broad range of beverages, as well as foods, by up to 50%. Financial results from operations improved compared to 2010.  
Announced Senomyx’s continued inclusion in the Russell 3000 Index following Russell Investments' annual reconstitution of its comprehensive set of U.S. and global equity indexes on June 24, 2010. Senomyx is also included in the Russell 2000 Index, a subset of the Russell 3000 composed of small-cap stocks.  
Announced the issuance of U.S. Patent No. 7,939,671, which includes composition-of-matter claims for a family of Senomyx’s bitter blockers and their use in all forms of foods and beverages, as well as in medicaments and other products. The patent was issued on May 10, 2011 and will be in force until January 17, 2029.  
Announced that Senomyx increased revenue and improved net loss compared to prior year; ended 1Q11 with $66 million cash balance. First commercial order expected in Q2 2011 for Senomyx’s S6973, which enhances the sweetness of sucrose (table sugar). Significant progress with Cooling Flavors Program.  
Announced the issuance of U.S. Patent No. 7,928,111 covering foods and beverages containing S2383, a highly effective enhancer of the sweetener sucralose. The patent has a term through June 8, 2027.  
Announced that Senomyx ended 2010 with $71.6 million in cash and investments; $28.7 million in revenue, an 85% annual increase. In addition, Firmenich commenced sales of commercial quantities of Senomyx's S2383 Sucralose Enhancer. Firmenich also exercised its option to extend the research funding period of the companies' Sweet Taste Program collaboration. Firmenich will continue to provide research funding through July 28, 2012 for the discovery and development of natural and artificial flavor ingredients intended to enhance the taste of sucrose, fructose, and various forms of Rebaudioside (stevia). 
Announced that Senomyx's patent portfolio expanded with 50 additional patents during 2010. The Company's intellectual property portfolio includes 230 issued patents in the U.S., Europe, and numerous other countries. Senomyx's patents and patent applications include claims regarding the use of human taste receptors related to sweet, umami (savory), bitter, and other taste sensations for the discovery of novel flavor ingredients, as well as composition and usage claims for new flavor ingredients.  
Announced that Senomyx entered into a new collaborative agreement with Cadbury Adams USA LLC, a unit of Kraft Foods Inc., regarding the development and worldwide commercialization of certain novel flavor modulators for potential use in the gum and medicated confectionery product categories. Cadbury Adams agreed to pay Senomyx development funding and specified payments upon the achievement of milestones during the collaborative period. Cadbury Adams may evaluate and select flavor modulators for commercialization, after which Senomyx will receive royalty payments based on sales of products using the new flavor modulators.
